States I have Visited

I never thought that I can actually go more than half of the 50 States in America. Never thought nor DREAM of going because first of all I never imagine myself being in America, second of all my family in the Philippines got no money to even go around the country where I was born and race but believe it or not in the span of 2 years (I'll be here 2 years in the 12th day of November) I've already been to 41 States. We are trying not to go back to where we visited instead go to where we haven't visited yet. Of course there are some exceptions and want to go back to particular city, we'll see.
For now, we have to take it easy for reasons like money(we are broke, we need to accumulate some bucks :( ) and time too because all the states left unvisited needs more time.
Anyway, I'll update this blog again if ever we will add another one or two. See yah. Have a good weekend!

Driving is a Privilege

I still can’t believe that I drove the car home. This is what happens; I went to Shapes Total Fitness around 4:30 in the afternoon. Meanwhile, he took a couple of pills and went in the bar next door while waiting for me. He had drinks. I always stayed there until 7 o’clock in the evening, so I called Ray to tell him that I’m done only to find out that he can’t drive at all. I can’t even understand what he was talking about. He asked Jody (disk jockey and a friend) if he can pick me up, of course he said yes, I’m only couple of blocks from the store, and it will only take 5-10 minutes. I can’t believe how screwed up Ray was. He can’t even talk straight, he can’t even remember Jody’s name. Finally we’re back in the store, Thanks to Jody. The problem is going home; we can’t ride a bus because we have dogs. So I decided to drive home. I promise I will never drive a car without insurance but in times like this we have to break our rules. I am legal to drive I have my permit. I have a lot of courage at that time, I am not even nervous driving home, knowing I have to cross Dale Mabry hwy and Hillsborough (those streets are big enough). I drove rental cars before but not in a highway or big road. Thanks God I made it to our house without any problems.

*YOU ARE FIRED*

Yup, that's true. I was being fired by Ray at the store last Tuesday, February 07, 2006. I know it sounds silly but that was the way it was. That commotion made me thought of lots of unclear and doubtful things. I came up with different thoughts in my mind that i was afraid to think of. I never ever saw him that mad as he was last tuesday. I really pull the trigger that time that i wished i didn't say anything at all.
Wondering why and what happen? I know it's kind of overacting but that's how Ray reacted to what i said. Anyway, i told him that " i wanna work not to our store but to other company" with that statement really blew him off. I already knew and told me about it before, he just want me to help him build our store. I was just pressured by others asking me why i am not working. The fact is I am working it's just in our own even though i don't have my monthly or weekly salary it doesn't mean i am not working at all. Our profit is what holding us in our every day expenses and have the opportunity to see other places with our own choice of time.
Now that i think about it, i was stupid wanting to work to other where i have to deal with the boss and with the other higher rank if i can just work in our own company. I am not just working i am helping too.
I work in the accounting office of my college before so i know the relationship i am going to deal with if i will be able to find one, or whatever job i will find might not satisfied what i want them to pay me. Even my friend(actually Ray knew her first and introduced to me), who is a manager in Mc Donald (Dale Mabry Branch) told me i am just looking for my own problem.

By the way, i am now convinced and see some aspects that discouraged me. Working at the store is just like going to school that teach me about computers not just hands on on hardwares but also software. Actually, it just fits on me because i finished my degree in Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
Gotta go now...We'll have our Saturday night out again....We are a bit bored so got to go out sometimes....

let me count

After all of the excitement i have because of the approval of my I-485, our dog Bullwinkle got out again this morning. Now he figured out how to get out from our privacy fence. This is probably his 10th times if not more. This is how Ray's late fiancee got him by following her all the way to her house. They even put posters around just to let the owner know that they got him but nobody calls. So they keep him.
He is such a good dog. He'll do whatever you him to do. He will just go with the flow. The thing is he won't get out if there's no challenge. He won't just get out if the door is open. He likes to sneak out through small holes he will see.
The good thing when he got out he always go to the person he first saw. He is so friendly and he will just wag his tail. He's always excited that you'll think he already knew you even though he just see you.
Luckily Ray got up around
six o'clock in the morning and look for Bullwinkle. He found out that he's gone.So we drove down the road this morning just look for him, we are worried because he is a mixture of black and brown and hard to see him when it's dark. The girl who is waiting for the school bus was petting him. She said Bullwinkle was just walking and he was so cute so she just pet him. Damn Bullwinkle "the Houdini" always makes me worried. Thanks God he is still alive.

Step number one

Whew!!!!!! Yehey!!!! I am really happy and excited tonight. Ask why? because i just got my approval from the USCIS about the adjustment of status or permanent resident. I didn't really expect to get it today because i just sent my medical supplement last month and the last letter i got, they said it will take 270 - 300 days. It's really a surprise for me. It didn't take that long, it's not a year from the date we applied yet.
Anyways, just want everybody know the latest news and share my excitement. :)
Thanks God. He is really Good all the time.
