Post Election Dilemma

Watching different news channel as a resident in this great country the United States of America, I often wondered what does the rest of the world think of America. When you see protest almost everyday, name calling as i heard just today from an elected official, do the rest of the world will see America as leader or just a country that is in chaos and disarray. Sometimes I catch myself wondering if my kids will have a great future when the current generation is such in turmoil and I often hear  disconnect between the senate, congress, white house,  court and its people.

United States presidential election has passed and the people voted and chose the 45th president the republican party  Donald J. Trump.

President Donald J. Trump accomplishments in his first month in office as listed in the website:

Jump starting Job Creation: President Trump is looking out for American workers that Washington has left behind.
  • Signed a Presidential Memorandum ordering the United States to withdraw from the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations and agreement
  • Hosted the CEO of Intel to announce Intel’s plan to invest $7 billion in a United States factory that will create 10,000 American jobs
  • Signed a Presidential Memorandum to clear roadblocks to construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline Signed a Presidential Memorandum declaring that the Dakota Access Pipeline serves the national interest and initiating the process to complete construction
  • Signed a Presidential Memorandum ordering that all new pipeline construction and repair work use materials and equipment from the United States
  • Signed legislation, House Joint Resolution 38, to block the burdensome Stream Protection Rule from causing further harm to the coal industry
  • Signed legislation, House Joint Resolution 41, to eliminate a costly regulation that threatened to put domestic extraction companies and their employees at an unfair disadvantage
Saving Taxpayers Money: President Trump is fighting to save Americans’ hard-earned tax dollars.
  • Saved Americans $700 million on a new batch of F-35 fighters
  • Capped the cost of Boeing’s next-generation Air Force One fleet at millions below that which was agreed to by the Obama administration
Restoring Public Safety: President Trump will work to reduce the threats of crime and illegal immigration to public safety.
  • Signed an Executive Order to enhance the safety and security of the United States by, among other things, constructing a wall on the southern border
  • Signed an Executive Order to make sure Federal immigration laws are faithfully enforced throughout the country and that Americans’ tax dollars do not go to jurisdictions that obstruct the enforcement of immigration laws
  • Signed an Executive Order that directs the Attorney General to develop a strategy to more effectively prosecute people who engage in crimes against law enforcement officers
  • Signed an Executive Order that establishes a task force, led by the new Attorney General, to reduce crime and restore public safety in communities across America
  • Signed an Executive Order that re-focuses the Federal Government’s energy and resources on dismantling transnational criminal organizations, such as drug cartels
Getting Government Out of the Way: President Trump understands that excessive regulations stifle job-creation and harm our businesses.
  • Signed an Executive Order instructing Federal agencies “to minimize the burden” of the Affordable Care Act Required that for every new Federal regulation, two existing regulations be eliminated
  • Directed the Commerce Department to streamline Federal permitting processes for domestic manufacturing and to reduce regulatory burdens on domestic manufacturers
  • Signed an Executive Order expediting the environmental review and approval processes for domestic infrastructure projects
An America First Foreign Policy: The President’s first priority is the safety and security of the American people.
  • Department of the Treasury sanctioned 25 entities and individuals involved in Iran’s ballistic missile program
  • Signed a Presidential Memorandum directing the Secretary of Defense to work with other Cabinet members to develop a plan to defeat ISIS
  • Called or met with more than 30 foreign leaders
Draining the Swamp: President Trump has taken action to ensure that all members of his Administration are working for the American people.
  • Signed an Executive Order establishing new ethics commitments for all Executive branch appointees, putting in place a five-year lobbying ban and a permanent ban on lobbying for foreign governments, so appointees serve the American people instead of their own interests
  • Put in place a hiring freeze for Federal civilian employees to stop the growth of a bloated government
Keeping His Promise to Defend the Constitution: President Trump promised a Supreme Court justice in the mold of the late Justice Antonin Scalia.
  • Nominated Judge Neil M. Gorsuch to the Supreme Court because of his consistent record defending the Constitution
Helping Women Succeed in Business: President Trump knows the country cannot reach its potential unless every American has a chance to prosper.
Reading this accomplishment, i can see the disconnect of the people and the elected official. I just hope that President will continue to reach out and unite this divided country.

Election 2016

United States of America is once again face a difficult decision comes November 8th. Americans are are left with the choices between the Republican party nominee Donald J. Trump, democratic nominee Hillary R. Clinton, Libertarian  candidate Gary Johnson and the Green Party Jill Stein. Of course the two main parties Republican and Democrat nominees are the main candidates basically head to head according to the polls. Reality is either Donald or Hillary is going to be the next president of the United States of America.

Whoever will win comes November 8, 2016, I just hope the person will bring this country back on track and hopefully will lead the country and make the whole world a safe place to be. As our GDP in this country is so poor at 1.5% growth (not sure if you can call that growth), and the debt is growing to 20 trillion and counting, I just don't see this country as what as it used to be.
As a resident in this great country where growth is a for sure thing and the american dream is not impossible, I just hope that the next president of the Unites States of America will do its job to restore all and more. I am just hoping that it will restore the growth of all thriving business and encourage new businesses to be built.  We all know that retail is down and online business are growing nowadays.

Come November 8th, vote for the person who you think will do the ultimate job as the 45th President of the United States of America.

Making Money online

Today I was just wondering if there is still a lot of money in writing a blog. I remember about eight years ago, I actually made a significant amount of money writing a blog but I stop doing it when I got so busy with my new blessing and couldn't keep my eye and attention from her.

So now that I am just sitting around i wonder if that the money in blogging still there. I used to compete with other bloggers and owned a lot of blogsites and it made a lot of good for me at that time.

I remember one advertiser that want us to write about how to sell memory and if you are a business and closing your business that you can sell all you old equipment to Microstar like memory, hard drives, computers, cellphones, laptops, RAM and all other electronics.

It was actually fun as i remember writing all kinds of stuff, sky was the limit when it comes to writing. I just don't know if I can keep up with the demand if I have to do it today. It took a lot of time and certainly need a lot of your energy. For me to go back in that time in my life I really have to think hard if I can live up to it now. Life is so busy and having to juggle two kids and helping with the business, it's just hard to balance my time and work. I do love to write a blog so maybe i can still write but not as much as i did eight years ago.

Early Christmas

Yesterday we went to my sister's house for an early Christmas party. We did it earlier because they are not going to be around on our traditional Christmas gathering at my mom's. It's like everybody was there but my other sister but we will have our traditional Christmas anyway.

It was fun everybody was thrilled about my stomach. It's already starting to show. We actually got a first gift for the baby from Courtney (our niece and Ray's god daughter)

Joke Therapy

When I was growing up way back in my home town, jokes is always part of my everyday living. My brother and my father, we always tell jokes at each other even when I was in my high school days my friends, we always tell jokes as part of our conversations. Telling jokes is like part of my life and I am grateful because, people will always call me Miss Smiley. Now that I am here in the US it's rare that I get to see my friends, so what I do is just go to the Internet and read up jokes that will keep my wrinkles away.

Not the same!

Last week we went to an early Halloween Party and I am not really feelin' it even though there were a whole lot of people. Tonight we decided to go to another Halloween costume party because I always like to dress up. The only thing I don't like is I can't drink people!!! Partying is not the same when you don't have alcohol consumption, it just make the whole party funnier and wilder plus besides the fact that Ray will be drinking and I am not. It sucks but I can still have fun right? I'll just dance it off to get my thoughts away from alcohol. Maybe I can just have a frozen Pina Collada but no alcohol, does that sounds pretty good?

So are you going to a Halloween Costume party? What are you wearing? Whatever you wearing and wherever halloween party you are attending, having fun is always depend on you not on somebody else's so leave all your negative thought at home and just let go of yourself and have fun.

I am kinda confused what to wear, I had my Miss Muffet last week and I am torn between my Race Car costume and my lion outfit. We'll see what will get the most appeal later...

Have fun on your Halloween Party....have a great weekend..

Chillin out!

My friend just asked us if we want to go with them in a trade show. My friend said that they are going to have a lot of trade show booths where we will have a full day of fun and adventures. They always go to those kinds of events and now they want us to experience it. She said that they will actually decided to have a booth for their business because they get a really good deal in the materials they needed to be in the show like table skirts to go with theme, Pipe and Drape which will do a dramatic effect for visitors and of course the banner stands which is very important. I have been to one before but we don't really do anything because we hardly know anybody and now that our friend will be in the event, we kinda hang out at their booth or we can go around to other booths so explore whatever they have in displays. It has been awhile since we hang out with friends because we have been working hard lately. So I think their invitation kinda just fell in the right time so at least we can just chill out and spend time with them and maybe do a little help too while having fun.

I am finally back!

I was so unmotivated to go to the gym and get back to my regular gym routine for the past 2 months. I am just so lazy to at least spare a half an hour, it started when I found out that I lost my gym bag which includes 1 pair of sneakers, fitness clothes and most especially my IPOD Gen 3. I just bought it 6 months ago and listening to the music while working out is just makes a difference. I even spent $30 just to get the best arm band for it. I just love it because it was so light and so user friendly. Now I have to deal with my IPHONE which I got my music because of course it's an IPOD too but don't think I am going to continue using it. It is not as light for one thing and it is a little bigger which I hate the most. I love my IPHONE but not when I am working out. I guess I have to save some money to buy a IPOD NANO again but I am thinking of ITOUCH but it will be the same as IPHONE when it comes to the size though but I can play games right, especially with the latest model right now.

We'll once I am able to save some money I can decide which one will work best for me. For now I am just glad I am back to my gym routine.

2008 World Series

First I want to congratulate the Tampa Bay Rays for beating the Boston Red Sox and be the winner of the 2008 American League Championship Series. I just learned all this stuff in 2 months and I am so proud that the worst team in baseball last year being able to compete in the 2008 World Series this year. It is truly a Cinderella story for the Tampa Bay Rays and being able to prove to the world that they can do all this and win their games.

Tomorrow is the first game of the 2008 World Series between the Tampa Bay Rays against the Philadelphia Phillies.

Go Rays Go!!! We can win all the way...
