My USCIS woes

Yesterday I had my appointment at the local USCIS office. I made one because of the status of my application online was unclear. It made me so worried so I went to the office to make sure everything is alright. Yesterday I was freezing my butt off waiting outside since they won't let anybody in unless your name is being called. When they serve me, the officer said that everything is alright and my case is in California office and it may take about a year to get my permanent card but he ask me if I want a temporary card so I told him yea since we are planning to go go somewhere in the summer. I don't have a picture so I went to get one which is just around back of their office building and approximately 30 minutes my temporary resident card is ready. I rather have it anyway to make sure I'm out of trouble. Thank God everything is still in the right track.

I am so worried

I've been here 3 years yet I am still legible of going back to my country if I fail to process my papers to legalize my stay in this country. I have been a permanent resident in here yet it expired 2 months ago. I already have my biometrics for the next step and been processing my papers. It's been almost 3 months and I haven't got anything yet so I checked my status and it says they already sent me a letter which to my knowledge I never get it. I been trying to call customer service but I can never get to the point where I am able to talk to a real person so I can verify everything but I fail to that too. Maybe best thing to do is go to the office and talk to them personally. I am just worried because My permanent card is expired and even I have my florida ID they still can kick me out....Hope everything will have answer next week.

Important Matters

I had my appointment yesterday for USCIS regarding my Biometrics for my replacement of Permanent Resident Card. Yea it expired January so I have to get another one. Man, I can't believe it's been 3 years since I first moved in this country. Now I am processing my green card so I can be a citizen in what they called "great/free country". Most if not all think if you are in united States you got money more than you can think of, the truth of the matter is USA is more expensive to live in, yea we got great benefits from government, great interstate system but of course they have to do all of these because we pay taxes on every dollar we spend. Earning dollar and spending dollar is the same as earning peso and spend it on peso.
I just got carried away for a lil bit there, anyway the schedule went pretty well yesterday and I just have to wait for the new card I guess.
