Pretty Laid Back

Yesterday was kinda different. We had everything planned Friday that we are gonna bring the dogs Sunday to the beach where the sand bar bar(shallow spot away from where the water meets the sand) is in Fort Desoto. I was so excited I always love to bring them over there because I love watching them swim or they'll drown because they don't have a choice unless I put them in the chair or the boat. We got this 2 seater canoe which is enough for us to bring them the shallow spot but everything was just a plan. I screwed it up with moods. Instead of going out we ended up staying inside the house the whole day and watch movies. Luckily Ghost Ship was on so we were able to see it since we want to watch the whole movie again. I saw it before but I kinda forgot about it and I need to be reminded. I have seen 3 other pay per view movies too, nothing really spectacular. How was your weekend?

A little break!

My day started not too good today. I am running out of time with my ebay stamp covers that supposed to go out yet I am ridiculously behind. Luckily the regular people that won the auction don't complain because they know we have a lot of stuff to do and it takes awhile to look for the covers itself. Then I was trying to get the chlorine to put in our water softener and they said they will ship on Monday and it will be here Tuesday and I was like we need it right now because we don't have any at all! So we found it locally for now yet it was twice as much and I have to drive out of town just to get and damn the weather is so hot. I got back safely at least. Right when I came back our friend came and luckily we almost closed we just hang out and drinking some rum& coke and talking about going out tonight but it was pretty late so we decided not to and maybe tomorrow we could go to the club and get crazy we'll see, hey we worked hard all week long and we need a little break ya'll.

Yup, we went golfing on our small weekend getaway on our 4th of July weekend. And I was so happy that I made to make 1 par (even though it's the simple one), it's all worth it for me because it's not easy getting one for my case since I don't golf that often.

Away for the weekend

Tonight I am packing, what's good about me being a night person is, I can be up until whatever for packing but getting up tomorrow will be a lil tougher. We will be going early tomorrow to Miami. We miss going to Miami and it's been months since we drove down south. We go there often for business too. We get a lot of our computer stuff from Miami. We always combine business and pleasure. Don't expect me to be away from blogging thingy because I will always find a way to be connected no matter where we go :)

Our Weekend

Our weekend was kinda lame. Friday we just stay at home and watch movies on pay-per-views. Saturday we worked as usual and was very busy actually. We got another auction that was filled with tools and it was overwhelming. We have 4 guys just to go and get all the tools and even then it took them 2 days to get it all done. While we were at the store my mom and my sister in law was preparing for their yard sale Sunday. Saturday night even we are tired Ray wants to go clubbing but we fell asleep. I fell asleep in the couch and when I woke up, I had this horrible cramps both my calves or legs whatever! All I know was I was crying like a baby and no matter what I do it's hurting me so bad. I am not a cry baby but last Saturday I cried with tears coming down on my cheeks! It was just so unusual! I never had any cramps that bad even with my periods before. Instead of going out I just went to bed and Ray had an attitude over the whole thing so Sunday morning instead of helping them at the store with the yard sale I stayed at home and watch most of my family feud recording. I had at least 30 episodes recorded and I haven't done watching it. I recorded every damn thing. I usually watch it before I go to bed but in the last few days I just don't have time anymore. He wants to go out again Sunday night but I wasn't in the mood so we stayed home and watch Flawless with Demi Moore (they have it in Pay-per-view and in theater too)

Miami Weekend

Saturday we drove down to Miami, Florida. Weather was great. Since we have our cousins in Miami, we called and told him that we are coming down. We usually stay at his house but now that he is assigned to other country as part of his job so he rented out his house. He's in Miami right now for just 2 months and will be back to South Africa, He said he is staying in his condo in downtown Miami (his house in Downtown too) and if we are staying for the weekend we can stay at his other place. We told him we will so got the key from his place(he just leave it in the front desk because he has to go somewhere and we'll just meet later on that night). We stayed at the Loft 2 in downtown and it was beautiful. It's one of the high rises in Miami.
Our reasons why we go down south is mainly computer stuff (Miami has these wholesaler outlets near the airport that we always go to if we need stuff for our store) and to give the computer to our uncle since he got problem with his old one. Our uncle was so nice that he brought us to the condos that we have to go since we don't know where it's at.
We communicated to our cousin and talked about meeting for a drink. Me and Ray fell asleep and woke up 10pm instead we just went clubbing to our favorite place.
Sunday we woke up late and instead of a drink we just meet our cousin for breakfast at Big pink in Miami Beach. We were able to meet his girlfriend and she is from Poland. She was very nice. They told us that our uncle's van was stolen! fortunately, they just called today and said they found the van abandoned somewhere :)

Man, weeks go by so quick that when I look at blog it's weekends again. The last time i posted about what I did was last week and now it's a week after the big event, The Super Bowl! I am just gonna update for my whole week. It was just a busy week for us at the store, I have files of tasks to be completed and the week is over and I am not done with it so I guess I have it for Monday.
Speaking of sales, after we ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant called Miguel's here in Tampa, we went to the computer store that is closing in 2 weeks trying get a good deal. The stuff are almost gone and look like it's pretty much empty but we still saw this one laptop, a huge one with a 20 inch screen, it's a high end machine just can't remember the specifications, all i know is It is a humongous system that I haven't seen before. It wasn't really a good deal because it's still kinda expensive but Ray just want to have it for display so we bought it for our store. Actually the store is just across the street from our computer store, it kinda help us in business when customer knew they are closing so they come to us for their computer repair and we exchange business even before in a way that we recommend each other to our customer when we don't have they the other have what the customer is looking for.

Nothing like a "Pack N Go" Weekend

Spring time in Florida feels like summer, so hot. Last Sunday after the Saturday basketball game in Orlando, we worked from 2 pm until 5 pm because we forgot that the employee that usually works on Saturdays asked Ray weeks before that he can't work last and he forgot all about it instead he bought us ticket to the game. He still has to open the store and close it earlier than the usual, and we worked Sunday to make up for the half day. He promised that we'll go to Orlando again the following weekend since we work Sunday.
Friday we went to Orlando again as promised and of course the dogs are going too. We've been going to Downtown Disney and never stepped in Disney Quest. This time we decided to get us tickets for Disney Quest, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon for the whole year. It's cheaper that way and besides we're only an hour and 15 minutes away from Disney World so may as well take advantage of it. There are people from around the globe that go over there. Floridians are so lucky to have all the theme parks those only hours away.
We went to a club in down town Orlando it was fun and Ray got drunk. I even let him walk if he can pass if got pulled over by cops and he is too drunk. So I have to drive back to Kissimmee where we stayed. I didn't drink that much because I figured I have the whole weekend to get drunk..hahaha
We missed both water parks, we had our yearly pass t2 years ago and didn't get last year because we are busy going to other States, now that we're almost done with it, we have more time and less money of course just to drive around Florida.
We haven't really plan what to do last weekend, so Saturday we went to a driving range in Celebration for me to practice how to swing so we can play golf together, then after that we went to Disney Quest in Downtown Disney in Down Town Disney, it was fun and I keep laughing because you'll see people playing and look like an idiot (where can you see people paddling in a boat without water??). A lot of virtual games and we even design our own roller coaster and it was rate 4 out of 5 (it was pretty scary). All I'm excited about is to beat the high score (54) in basketball I got 47 I almost beat it but better luck next time.
We went to a club at night. This time I get drunk ;) We met our friend from Clermont and it was a whole lot of fun.
Sunday was our beach time. We decided to go to Typhoon Lagoon. I love going in there. Enjoying the rides or just be in the raft that goes around is always been fun. We have to go home earlier because of the storm.

Just updates

Oh nothing just got bored and wants to get away from my busy weeks. Ray and i went to Miami last weekend again, God we must know the place quite well especially roads. I even argue with someone about the streets for giving me wrong direction. I am obsess with direction, Ray often call me GPS. Anyway, we went to Miami Beach for Exotica. It's like the same event as the AVN in Las Vegas that we went last year but not nearly as entertaining, as a matter of fact it's kinda boring. Of course a saw Jenna Jameson (biggest female porn star, as what they say), i haven't even seen any of her movies, I saw the E! true Hollywood Story and she wasn't that skinny as she was when i saw her. Ron Jeremy (biggest male porn star, as they claim), I wonder why, he doesn't even have a nice body nor good looks. I have a picture with him but i mistakenly deleted it. I thought i already move it to my computer but for no reason it's not there. I also have another picture of Daisy. I had a picture of her too when i saw her in Vegas. What completes me? We watched the Opera Orlando“Romeo and Juliet” at the Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center Friday. Then after the opera we drove to Orlando.

Saturday, went to Disney World’s MGM. Of course can’t leave the theme park without going to the crazy rides at stake taking pictures with or without the Disney characters.

We tried Voyage of the Little Mermaid, The magic of Disney Animation, Sounds Dangerous – Starring Drew Carey, Muppet Vision 3-D and of course the 2 attraction that you can’t leave without trying are the Rock n’ Roller Coaster and The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror.

Then we met a friend in Downtown Disney but we just had chitchat, we don’t even have time to eat because they have to leave for somewhere else. I noticed a little change in Downtown Disney (just the stage near the bridge going to Pleasure Island , they took it off). Then headed back to the room and later on that night went to other club in Orlando.

Weekend update

I am so excited getting up this morning because i want to go to the store and start on my blog but after i took a shower and get dress i have this enourmous pain and Ray wanted to bring to the clinic but i refuse. I said i'll just stay home and just call him whenever it gets worst. OMG, when it comes to hospitals you can't just drag me. I hate those places. Anyway, i am feeling better now.
Paz, called inviting me to go to her house because they're having a get together with some friends but i still can't. So she'll just let one of our friend drop off some food at the store....Making me hungry waiting for it.

We did it at last, went to Floyds Friday night for the first time, and what amazes me is us not even wanting to stop at the casino. We used to go there every weekend but we realized we always comes out losing our money so we stop it :) good thing for us right? Floyds was fun, we dance and drink as usual. New hits were played by the DJ, they have dancers on their own little stage (they shift around, 4 each batch). It was fun for me but maybe irritating for this 1 girl that i saw watching on me dancing, made a face on her friend while she's pointing on me. They were dancing right next to us, so i turned around facing towards her and i dance looking at her just to irritate her. Surely it works, after 5 minutes or so they sit and never went to the dance floor again.
I can be as friendly and might dance with you but don't try to push me because i will be the nastiest girl you will ever met. I will show you what i got when it comes to dancing. Watch out(just kidding).
Saturday, instead of Ray working he called Avery to work at the store so he can just stay home. We stayed home waking up late and going back to sleep. Staying home for is fun enough but not Ray, he is always on the go. We went to the club next door to play a game of pool. We both love playing it, I even have compliments on the club that we always go but not on this night. I am playing worth of crap. I can't even make a simple shot but playing is always fun. Cindy the bartender gave us a free drinks, and 1 that we know keep telling Ray that I look good, so when we get home Ray told me not to wear my dress anymore(hahaha, look who's talking here, he is the most liberated when it comes to dresses), he will never say that is too revealing until saturday.

Sunday was Mom's birthday Party. We just go to her house(her house is always the venue).
The gift was not individually, we just bought her a computer desk. No hassles at all.

Yup it was a 100 % Roller Coaster Weekend from September 09 to 10, 2006. This time we stayed at the Ramada and I don’t think they allow pets, we decided to sneak out Bullwinkle in the “maleta”. Believe me we did it before in our honeymoon, that dog won’t make any sound or movements at all. He’ll just go with the flow. Mom looks after Rocky for the weekend. We had our hotel reservation from September 8 – 11, 2006. We checked in around 11 o’clock

Friday night. We talked about going to Downtown Disney but it’s kind of late. We just talked about what we are going to do the following 2 days and then sleep for the night. Saturday instead of going to Universal Orlando (get the 1 day 2 parks {Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure, since we been to the not long ago but we missed some that’s why want to go back}), we decided to go to Disney World’s EPCOT. I wanted to go there since last year (EPCOT and MGM are the 2 known parks in Disney that I’ve never been). I want to experience Mission Space ride and Oh until now I can still feel my stomach spinning inside. We went to “The Big Thrills” like Test Track(I love it when it goes outside), Mission: SPACE (the most intense ride I have ever been and I don’t I want to go back in there for years) and of course our favorite ride Soarin'™ (I love this ride, we even go back twice and wanting to back again but we don’t have enough time). We also went to other rides like "Honey, I Shrunk The Audience", Circle of Life , Journey Into Imagination With Figment. Our trip will not be complete if won’t go to country around the globe like Canada, China, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Morocco, Norway, United Kingdom.

Night life should be as exciting as the day adventures right? Went to the club in Orlando (just don’t want to reveal the name of it but it was pretty wild), we met a Filipina; her name is Angel, originally from Cebu. We dance talk whatever “mga bisaya gud” basta bisaya wala tabian jud. The club had a wet t-shirt contest (I probably seen pretty much everything whoever were wearing the t-shirts). Too bad I can’t put some pictures because we can’t bring camera even a camera phone.

Sunday destination was Universal Orlando Resort. We got the 1 day 2 theme parks. We went to Universal Studios and go to their rides Jaws (we missed the last time and of course I’ve got the good place to get wetJ), Terminator 2®:3D (that was really good, I recognize the scene but it different with all the effects it’s one of my favorite), Back To The Future The Ride(cool), E.T. Adventure, Earthquake, Revenge of the Mummy(awesome), we also went to Lucy – A Tribute.

We no notice that the express pass is convenient and quicker than the regular as we are waiting in line in the rides of Universal Studios so we decided to upgrade our tickets in Islands of Adventure. After getting our new tickets we ate at NASCAR Café in order for us to see the football game. The Buccaneers sucks though. They had a shutout in their first game for the season. While we are eating the rain started to pour, we thought for sure it won’t stop fortunately it stop after we ate. So first was Incredible Hulk Coaster, Doctor Doom’s Fearfall, The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, Dueling Dragons, Jurassic Park River Adventure, Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls (we got really wet, I mean soaking wet) The park closed at 6 pm, head back to the hotel and got there around 6:30 pm, We were so tired, we slept about 3 hours and then head back home.

Back on track

It’s been awhile since we took a weekend getaway. We decided to go to Fort Lauderdale Friday August 18, 2006 and stay for 2 days (instead of 3 days from our reservation in the hotel) and 2 nights. We left Friday night instead of 1 o’clock in the afternoon, got there around 10:00 pm. We talked about going to South Beach Miami after taking nap but we slept until 12:30 am. Don’t think we didn’t go, we did and right when we were only 10 miles away it started to rain and not just raining, it was pouring. We turn around and look for the club that our friend recommends to us. I remember the time it was 2:30 am and we were still in the road looking for the club. Finally found it and we only have 2 hours at the most to get what we paid for. It was a bit pricey for us to enjoy it for 2 hours. We don’t plan on drinking too much, we just want to see and experience what it’s like to be in the club. Actually we only stayed for couple of hours and head back to our hotel room. Saturday was for South Beach and a club near Fort Lauderdale. South Beach is a crazy place, I love being in there. The place is a whole lot of fun. Music you hear even in the club mostly is Latin/Spanish (whatever) type of music, and it’s not that it’s hard to dance with as long as you know how to work and shake that ass you're good, you know what am saying. After South Beach we head back to our room and get dress for the other club. I didn’t expect anybody but we saw Heather (we met her and her husband at the club here in Tampa that we always go). We like the place so we decided to stay until 4 o’clock in the morning. We are ready to check out Sunday at 11:00 am and on our way home we are going to go to the air boat ride in alligator alley but the weather is so mean. It was sprinkle when we were driving towards the place and it gets nastier every mile we travel. Going home is our last option but what can we do if it’s pouring so our decision to go home is not hard at all. We stop by at my sister in law’s house to get the pill that she wants to give to Raymond. We are going to see dad there but he was in a hurry so we’ll just see him next time.

Crazy weekend

Friday went to Vero Beach, stay for a day then drive back to Tampa. Uh! I am so dark but of course just had my natural color when I was in the Philippines (I can’t complain about it, right?). True colors will always prevail (hahahaha). Actually our beach time supposedly Sunday but we can’t go because Ate Nanette invited us for Katie’s birthday party and for their house warming.

Saturday i spent 3 hours at Shapes Total fitness (1 and a half for my regular exercise routine then the next 1 and a half was in the pool). I am trying to learn how to swim because we are in the planning to get certified for scuba diving and the pre-requisite is swimming. So got to learn how to swim. Then we went to Denise’s house for Dad and Gabriel’s (nephew) birthday party . After the birthday party we went home to get dress for the club night out. We arrived at the club around 10:15 pm so still kind of early if you are into night party. Since we already had dinner at the earlier party so we didn’t stop at the complimentary buffet table at the club. We went directly to the bar and got our drinks. We are going to meet a couple last night, so were looking for them. I was having Rum and Coke and since I was the bartender’s favorite he gave me 2 cherries with it and of course every drink i get he always put cherry in it. We walked back to dance floor to look for table but it’s all taken. We saw Heather (half American half Filipino but she was born here) and husband Dominic. They were so nice and we actually had a wonderful night talking to them. Last night was crazy. We were dancing like there’s no tomorrow. I even drink faster but didn’t get that drunk because we’ve been dancing. I wish I can tell you folks what really happened last night but maybe just to be in the safe side we’ll just leave it as it is (as of Las Vegas’ famous quote “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas”). The bottom line is when we woke up we realized that we were not in the house and the place was empty, it means we closed the place. We are just lucky they didn’t lock us up. We got home this morning at 6:30 am.

Phil fest weekend

Here I go again folks, just want to write the summary of what happen the past weekend.

Friday, Ray and I went to Lowry Park Zoo in Tampa with Mom Dee, Dick, Denise, Dennis, Jennifer (Filipino and a neighbor of mom) and Cheryl and Robert made their way too . The park was having a free concert and basically they have it every year. Mom brought some food for all us. We have a little picnic out there. We even dance in the front where some other were dancing.

Saturday, I stayed home all day. I had my day off (according to me.. hehehe). I was actually waiting for my friend Paz to call me if we were going to the Philippine Festival that day so I’ll see the Florida Flipz group too. She called me around 10:00am telling me that we are not going instead we are going Sunday. Ray and I decided to go and meet them in the Philippine Festival Sunday. Later at that night, as what we had planned Friday before last, we finally made it last Saturday. We went to Hard Rock Café and then went to Plant City at the Ramada Inn. There was one big group next to the table we had. I was pissed off when we came back from the dance floor, my drink was gone and the table was a mess. I knew some of the girls in the group who were drunk were there and took my drink. Ray got me another drink and the waiter gave it to me for free. Other than that, we had a nice evening and it was fun. The bar closes at 1:00am.

Sunday, I woke up with a stinking headache. I hate taking aspirin. I’d rather sleep than take anything. Call me crazy but I really hate it. We got up to go to the festival, it was so hot. I don’t care it’s only once a year and I like seeing and eating the Filipino dishes. I saw Jourdan, Angel and Sarah. My day won’t be completed if I don’t have the “lechon” so bought one meal for my dinner. I really miss “lechon paksiw”. After the street dancing, we decided to go home.
We went grocery shopping because we don’t have anything but we just have to buy enough for a week and a half because we are leaving soon. Yup we are and everything is planned but I don’t want to talk about it yet.

Weekend Blast

I have to summarize my weekend with Ray.

Friday, we already have our plans for the night. We went to a bar next to the store location and had 1 drink. We came back to the store and decided to go either one of the three places (Hard Rock, Ramada Inn and a bar near our house); we have this random numbers in the computer so we assigned numbers for each one. It turns out Hard Rock Café. The place is only for a couple of minutes or an hour so we planned to go to Ramada Inn around midnight since the place will really gets going about that time. Everything was planned; we arrived at the house around 8:30 pm so we just took a nap while waiting for the time. Unfortunately, instead of taking a nap, we woke up around 12:30am which means too late for what we had planned earlier. Sleeping is what we really need anyway.

Saturday was planned for Zeny’s birthday. The party was around 3:00 pm or 4:00 pm so Ray was going to take me to her house at 3:00 but Honey sent a message on my Yahoo Messenger that she’s going to go there early just to help Zeny in cooking the foods. Ray dropped me off at Brandon mall where Honey and I will be meeting for the first time. We went to several places before we went finally arrived at Zeny’s place where some other Filipina were there. They are all friendly and warm that made me comfortable. They already cooked and almost done with the foods and I don’t think I can help them anyhow so I joined Sally, Thea and Tony at the pool table. I have a great time playing with them. We ate around 5:00pm, food was great. Thanks to all Florida Flipz or mga Badjao, I really have a fun time being with you all. Ray picked me up at 6:00pm because we have another plan for the night. We went dancing to our favorite place; we don’t want to miss the April fool’s Day Party. My Saturday was incredibly awesome and the party was hot.

Sunday is for the vaccination of our pets (Bullwinkle, Rocky and Molly). We can’t find molly so we just had two dogs. It was pretty quick so we decided to go to Fort Desoto. We brought Rocky and Bullwinkle; it was mainly to take some pictures with the sunshine skyway in the background. I love the place. We definitely want to go back there.
