My updates
I am running kinda late on my updates here. Sunday, we work a lil bit then mom invited us for dinner and the we all went to Hard Rock Cafe here in Tampa. We went home as a loser though. I didn't have time yesterday to make some updates because I have to take over Cliff's job since he called sick. I have to finish some of the updates on machines he's working on. He came in today yet he has to go back home because he is not feeling good again. It's just a madhouse here, me trying to cover up with his work plus the new employee is having trouble with her task. It's just getting in my nerves but I'd rather be busy than doing nothing anyway, so what I'm complaining for?????? I am just getting frustrated sometimes when things just won't work out the way I wanted it to.

A lil Break
Yup, we surely had a blast last night. We went to our favorite club where they are having a school girl party and it was fun. Of course I had to wear my school girl outfit to fit in the party and boy Ray and I had a blast. The private club don't allow cameras even phones with camera is being banned so I didn't have pictures guys. We really deserved all the fun we had last night from working hard all this time. Now that the party is over we need to go back to do some work again! I wasn't drunk yet I need hot coffee this morning because I still feel the liquor in my system.

Military website
Living in FLorida brings a lot of fun yet it also bring some worries especially hurricane season is coming! We will need to stock some stuff like fuel, batteries, flashlights and more to be prepare of what's coming on the next months. In my three years here in Tampa, I haven't experienced hurricane yet and I thanks God for it. It's not that we are hoping for it but we have to realistic that hurricane will always be there and that's nature's decision. All we can do is be prepare for something to come so it won't be a surprise. Hectic Schedule II
Friday was our crazy day because we went to an abandoned(the landlord auctioned it off because the tenant left all the stuff) office equipment and furnitures. We were nervous going because thinking it's gonna go really high. When the auction starts, there quite a few (around 7 people showed up) yet it was only 1 person bidding against us but it still went pretty high considering there's only 2 people bidding. When the bidding stop and knowing that we won the stuff, it was a relief. Other bidders starts negotiating with us some bought some stuff too. Another ting winning an auction is getting all the stuff but it's not a problem since we all have the means to get it. Right after we paid the auction, we already start getting the stuff since the landlord only give us until Tuesday. I came back to the store and Ray went back with our employee to the the place so the can start getting the stuff. Friday it was me and Cliff left at the store and the bad news Cliff leaves at 4pm every Friday that I will be the only one at the store. It will make me occupied and can't do my sideline thing which blogging(makes sense co-bloggers?). I have to prioritize the store than the blogging, I'm only doing blog for fun even before I started blogging. I don't really think it's an incoming income, any dollars I get from it it's all bonus. Saturday was a lil crazy too, Ray want to go to the place to supervise and it means I will be the in-charge for the store because Cliff is off for the weekend the on-call for Saturday is not available. The whole day went pretty smooth and they (Ray and the employee) came back earlier than I thought. We even got home early. It was a very productive week.

Hectic Schedule I
Yesterday was really busy. We have this deal of monitors going on and we are just extremely busy. Also we just have another employee which will do all the collectors' stamp covers that we are putting on eBay which means I will have to train her on what to do and stuff. I always told Ray that I hate training somebody because I am a perfectionist and I want everything has to be right and if always assume that if I explain something she will just get it right away which I know it is not always the case especially when it's got to do with our procedure and how it's going to be done. Thank God yesterday all went smoothly than what we expected. She was freaking out when I showed her all the HTML stuff and the FTP then the turbo lister but when i explained to her and everything she got it eventually with some questions on the way which I considered normal and everything was done right.

THE SKYROCKETING commodity prices that have made the Farm Belt one of the most prosperous regions of the United States have had a rather different impact on large areas of the developing world. Foodstuffs have gone up 41 percent in price since October 2007, pushing many people over the line from poverty into privation or even hunger. The Food and Agriculture Organization, a branch of the United Nations, has identified 36 "crisis" countries, 21 of which are in Africa. The World Food Program, another U.N. agency, estimates that it will need $500 million on top of what donor nations have already pledged to fill what the WFP calls a global "food gap."
The United States must do its part. Even before the spike in commodity prices, the fiscal 2008 food aid budget of $1.2 billion was proving inadequate. President Bush asked for a $350 million supplemental appropriation in October, to cover help for Darfur and other critically needy areas. But Congress has not yet approved that request. Meanwhile, the U.S. Agency for International Development, which administers U.S. food aid, has accumulated a $120 million food budget deficit, which could grow to $200 million by the end of the fiscal year. Congress should swiftly approve the president's supplemental request, adding as much money as possible to offset recent price increases -- as Sen. Robert P. Casey Jr. (Pa.) and six other Democratic senators, including Foreign Relations Committee Chairman Joseph R. Biden Jr. (Del.), have proposed. The alternative is selective cutbacks in aid to hungry regions, a kind of nutritional triage unworthy of the richest agricultural nation in human history.

Away for the weekend
Tonight I am packing, what's good about me being a night person is, I can be up until whatever for packing but getting up tomorrow will be a lil tougher. We will be going early tomorrow to Miami. We miss going to Miami and it's been months since we drove down south. We go there often for business too. We get a lot of our computer stuff from Miami. We always combine business and pleasure. Don't expect me to be away from blogging thingy because I will always find a way to be connected no matter where we go :)

I was running out of time since this morning because we have plans to go to the auctions in Orlando at 5pm. I have Ebay to do and I have bills to send and all this time I've been wanting to visit the blogs of my friends in my blog roll yet I am lack of time. I wasn't done with either the bills and Ebay yet we have to leave but when I called the place they said 4 was canceled and only 2 left so we decided not to go because it's just a waste of time. I went back to whatever I left and when I got hungry I told Ray to eat out because I wanna just get out from the store. We talked about going to the Gyro place that we just saw 2 nights ago and it's just down the road from us but when we get there it was closed! That part of Dale Mabry got a lot of food places so we just went to Sonic and try there since kinda different from the rest of fast food. I've known somebody who worked on one of their station and she told me that they wear roller skates at work. I expected to see employees wearing them yet I was disappointed. I didn't see anybody wearing it. I am just curious to see it since I've wished I know how to skates and instead I busted my tush when we went skating a year ago. Oh, well maybe at the other sonic place wear their roller skates :(

Get Together with my friends
My friends been telling me that we will have a get together on the 7th of April and I was so excited because of good food and I will see my friends again. We're all busy with our lives that's why we only see each other once in a while. Yesterday was crazy, I forgot all about the get together and my friend called asking when I'm coming I was like... where? Then I quickly realize about the get together. They all want to go to the store anyway so they came went with them after. Some already left because they have to work and some hasn't came in yet.

Philippine Festival 2008
The past weekend was the yearly Philippine Festival here in the Tampa Bay area. Ray and I been going there for three years even though the two years was scorching hot and this year was different. It was pouring rain and we went Sunday but never stayed long because of the rain and it was muddy. We only ate there then sit for a bit and then head back to the store. It wasn't a good time, I can't even walk around and see what they got because of the rain. All we did was just had one round and eat then the rain started pouring.

I always ask my husbands every time I see commercials on TV about products. If you can really get it and if you can really trust them since they ask you you credit card. If you base the situation on what's going out there where scams are involve you will wonder if is there still somebody or company you can trust to. What's up with this long comment????
It's bugging the crap out of me when I saw this anonymous comment from my blog entry Tag Along. It's not a usual comment and it's so long that it occupy the whole page.
I decided to erase the long comment in here because it's taking too much room and when I read John's comment on it, I took time to read it and he was right, it just doesn't make any sense.

An online friend of mine requested if I can write something about Filipino lives here in America. He said that it would be nice to know what is really the real experiences of the women married to an American me.
I will be talking about my experiences and some that I have witnessed. I always have simple plans in life. All I want before was to finish my degree and have a decent job in Davao. I don't remember while I was growing up that I dreamt of going to USA. What started this whole new life and environment is when I had my job at the accounting office of the university where I finish my degree in computer science. I was hired as an encoder of the payroll and had access to the internet.
Processing my papers to come here wasn't easy but it went smoothly. I have to go through it all and what scared me was the mandatory seminar at the CFO where they showed mostly unfortunate Filipino who was being beaten by their foreign husbands. I was aware that knowing someone in a long distance situation is very different than knowing someone when you're living with him. Everything will show when you are with him 24/7. I have heard a story about my friend's friend in Alaska that her boyfriend was so inconsiderate that he let her stay outside in the middle of the night in a freezing temperature and they never get married and she eventually went back home. It's really sad that these things happens yet we can't generalize everything. It didn't change my mind because I had this feeling within me that he is a good guy. When I arrive here in the US I was greeted with warm welcome by my husband and his family which I considered my second family. I was very thankful to God that he gave me a good man with a good family. Ever since I step foot here my husband never landed his hands on me instead he showed me almost the whole country. He brought and showed me all 49 states that never in my whole life imagine I will go to. I have seen amazing and interesting places because of him. He taught me so many things even though sometimes we have some fights yet we always talk about what the problem is.
I know I have filipino who visited my website, I am requesting all my friends to add your unique story as a comment and I will repost this whole thing again with your story and experiences as a blog and i will include your name after your story. Hope you will support me so I can give a good article to my friend.

It was funny
I got a funny story (it's pretty funny for me by the way), while we are having breakfast this morning, my dog Bullwinkle just jump on a newspaper clip and it made some noise. I saw him do it yet I just ignored it because the newspaper was pretty old and I figured it's trash anyway but Ray ask me what was that so I just said it's an old paper. He stand up quick and said Bullwinkle get off there! I was like why? Then he explained the whole newspaper thing. It turned out to be that it was an article about him with his computer. What's hilarious was when I read the date, and it was written September 7, 1982. I calculated quickly and said I was only 11 days old!!! and you're already in the news??? I was like man you're old (I literally said those words!). I was asking him some shitty questions like if he paid the newspaper just to write an article which is unlikely because you can't pay them unless it's an advertisement or something, or if he's bestfriend wrote the article. I just can't believe he was in the paper in a whole page! I would love to post a copy but I didn't bring my camera and it's so delicate to bring it this morning but I still might post it, it's pretty cool my hubby got an article and it was a whole page article in a famous newspaper(tampa tribune) here in Tampa. I will make another blog entry with article itself.
