I was so busted

I was so excited a couple of days ago when my friend Gen told me about my rank in Google. I was out and about and didn't had time to check and even if I was logged in I wasn't aware about the changes. She broke the news and it surely made my day and made me happy.Thanks for the news friend. If it wasn't for you I would've not check it :)

Today, I was going to change my links and found out that my rank is back to the big O, was it a joke that for few days Google will bump you rank up and bring it down after???? Seems like Google is playing around with the ranking and for me it's not fair at all, why do it anyway!

I felt so busted today and now I have to update my ranking back to the fat O...oh well, maybe anytime soon Google will give it back(this time I will have my fingers crossed)

Oh Man

'Twas indeed a very busy week. I was like running out of time from doing my job that is being assigned to me 2 years ago and I considered this week was the most hectic one yet I have time to check my blog website of course. It's not very hard for me to check it because number one my is all about computer and internet and it only takes 5 minutes to check continue what I am suppose to do.
I had my hair done Tuesday and I definitely like it now. I was going to have highlights but he told no not this time because it's winter maybe in the summer we can color it and he told me he's gonna look for color that will fit me. I will have pictures later on not now.

Today I almost missed Marimar and luckily we got back from out of town for some auctions around 4:30pm and they still have it. They usually delete the whole episode around 7pm. I hate missing Friday because I will wonder what happen for the whole weekend and that will make me insane..hehe. Thank God it's weekend again and it means fun to me..have a good weekend everyone.

I get addicted to it that I have to watch it before I do my store routine and have to put everything aside and just watch the soap opera. It's really good but I think it's gonna end pretty soon.

Yea, according to Ray I need to go to rehab because I watch to much of Family Feud. I have been recording to our DVR the show Family Feud and every night I have to watch at least sometimes 4 to 5 show before I fell asleep. Every time Ray gave me this funny look at his face saying I am addicted to the show and I may need to go to rehab just because of it. I know it was all part of a joke, what can I do if I just like to watch it, it's entertaining and made me relax after work.
If you happen to not heard about it, it's a show of two families battling to get the right answer from people that the show had survey, they had to face 1 member at a time and if they try to win to have a shot for $20,000.

Lunar Eclipse Tonight @ 9pm

It was really cool looking at the moon just few minutes ago. It was kinda chilly outside but I went ahead and stayed for 30 minutes watching the moon while the shadow of the earth covered it. At some point the moon was covered with clouds but when it emerged from the clouds it was so cool. The two satellites were also visible moving around the moon(so if you're watching the moon don't think it was falling stars because it wasn't ;) ).

Blast from the past

Yesterday while we are driving back from Miami, Ray and I were talking about our favorite places in the west. We love 1. The Grand Canyon which is pretty amazing and you will wonder how can it form naturally into an amazing place.


2. Monument Valley, this one is just unbelievable how it happened in the middle of nowhere you'll this formation standing tall.



3. Yosemite National Park Beautiful. It's got waterfalls which is the reason why I want to go and see the park.



4. Yellowstone National Park. The most active super volcano.



5. Carlsbad Cavern National Park. Pictures won't do justice in this park wait till you see it in you naked eyes you will be surprised.


West have so many beautiful places to go. Here's only but to tell you the truth I love everyone of them that we went to.

Miami Weekend

Saturday we drove down to Miami, Florida. Weather was great. Since we have our cousins in Miami, we called and told him that we are coming down. We usually stay at his house but now that he is assigned to other country as part of his job so he rented out his house. He's in Miami right now for just 2 months and will be back to South Africa, He said he is staying in his condo in downtown Miami (his house in Downtown too) and if we are staying for the weekend we can stay at his other place. We told him we will so got the key from his place(he just leave it in the front desk because he has to go somewhere and we'll just meet later on that night). We stayed at the Loft 2 in downtown and it was beautiful. It's one of the high rises in Miami.
Our reasons why we go down south is mainly computer stuff (Miami has these wholesaler outlets near the airport that we always go to if we need stuff for our store) and to give the computer to our uncle since he got problem with his old one. Our uncle was so nice that he brought us to the condos that we have to go since we don't know where it's at.
We communicated to our cousin and talked about meeting for a drink. Me and Ray fell asleep and woke up 10pm instead we just went clubbing to our favorite place.
Sunday we woke up late and instead of a drink we just meet our cousin for breakfast at Big pink in Miami Beach. We were able to meet his girlfriend and she is from Poland. She was very nice. They told us that our uncle's van was stolen! fortunately, they just called today and said they found the van abandoned somewhere :)

Valentine's Day 2008

This year our Valentine's is so simple. We worked and after work, we just had dinner. We were at Circles to have our Chicken Piccata but the line was long and we didn't do any reservations so we to wait if they have any available tables. We were sitting while waiting but we can't just wait so we got out and just go to a Chinese Restaurant and had a buffet. Oh boy that was good! We ate like a pig! I was happy to go to that restaurant because I was able to see my favorite waitress that used to work at our favorite Chinese Restaurant but they closed because the owner sold the whole building. The whole dinner went pretty well and I am still stuffed with all the food and dessert that I ate.

At least I feel better this Valentine's Day than last year when we went to the cruise and Ray and I got sick that we almost throw up.

Mom called in the middle of the day yesterday and ask us if we want spaghetti with meatballs. Of course one of my favorite foods is spaghetti especially with meatballs so how can I say no? I decided to go to the gym since I missed my Tuesday step class because we were out of town and that particular class always makes me motivated. I love it that always makes me think that I lose weight after doing it even though it didn't hehehe. Mom brought the food for dinner when I was still in the gym and she didn't know that I was going but it was perfect because coming out from the gym I get really really hungry so I can eat like a pig. Good thing about going to the gym is I can eat whatever I can (I am obsessed with rice and pinakbet with bagoong! love it! love it! love it!) and don't worry about getting some extra unwanted weight.
Anyway, I'm writing this blog because I am eating our leftover from our dinner last night and I am so grateful to have an in laws like mom.

Another tiring day

I am so tired and haven't had time to be online the whole day. I am so sleepy and I need it really bad. Since Sunday I never get to bed early. Sunday we went clubbing and got home around 4:30 am, yesterday I went to bed kinda late because I can't sleep and my "night person" trademark struck me again this time even though we got home early (around 10pm) and has to wake up early which is against my "sleepyhead " character. I've been wanting to go to the gym for my "step class" but I didn't have time earlier plus t was a crappy day. It was pouring rain and we were out and about so hopefully I can go tomorrow to make for this day, I only go their once maybe twice if I am in the mood, and I hate to think that we are just wasting our money but I really love going though, it just gives me more energy.

Now I am home and instead of sleeping because my eyes is like ready to fall in the floor(hehehe) yet here I am in front of this computer trying to mess up with the keyboard :) I just want to greet everyone a Happy Valentine's day and more LOVE and LOVE and LOVE AND MORE LOVE.. just getting nuts here as a result of lack of sleep..goodnight guys

Almost a disaster

It was so busy today because we have to go out of town for the auctions. Usually a whole day thing but Ray got an appointment for his dentist so we have to cut it short. After the dentist we went home to pick up 2 of our dogs (Rocky and Bullwinkle) since we already have Ripsi with us. We rested for just a little bit at the house before going to the store, little that we know our privacy fence in the back opened and our Houdini dog "Bullwinkle" got out. We really got scared because one of the biggest road in Tampa is just blocks aways from the house. We looked all around the house and few houses away and we can't find him. So I decided to drive the car and look for him while Ray just looked around too just in case he is just near the house and just chasing those cats from our neighbors. When I almost made a left at the street before the main one, I saw the kid playing and I remember him playing when we came earlier so I figured he must saw Bully if he came this way. Good thing I asked because him and his mother and brother had Bullwinkle inside. Thank God he escape from a disaster if he went to the main street and Thank God there are still good Samaritan out there. Thank you..Thank you.Thank you so much it saves me a lot of tears if we lost our doggie!

I was so busy today and I checked my blog late and it was flattering to know that someone remembered you and gave you an award and it gave me a smile in the face just like anybody's reaction I guess if they'll get this award. chasing sale

Man, weeks go by so quick that when I look at blog it's weekends again. The last time i posted about what I did was last week and now it's a week after the big event, The Super Bowl! I am just gonna update for my whole week. It was just a busy week for us at the store, I have files of tasks to be completed and the week is over and I am not done with it so I guess I have it for Monday.
Speaking of sales, after we ate at our favorite Mexican restaurant called Miguel's here in Tampa, we went to the computer store that is closing in 2 weeks trying get a good deal. The stuff are almost gone and look like it's pretty much empty but we still saw this one laptop, a huge one with a 20 inch screen, it's a high end machine just can't remember the specifications, all i know is It is a humongous system that I haven't seen before. It wasn't really a good deal because it's still kinda expensive but Ray just want to have it for display so we bought it for our store. Actually the store is just across the street from our computer store, it kinda help us in business when customer knew they are closing so they come to us for their computer repair and we exchange business even before in a way that we recommend each other to our customer when we don't have they the other have what the customer is looking for.

It's a lil Ugly today

We just wasted our time today. We were working on this one deal for few weeks now actually we've had connections with this company (a multi-million dollar cement company). This time it's a little different, they are upgrading all of their hardwares and we are the one whose gonna pick up all the stuff that they want to get rid off. Today is the first day to pick up one part of it, when our guy went and pick it up he called and told us that there's no computers in the whole thing! Computers are the main reason why we agreed to work with them in the first place! Ray was so mad considering all the time and effort we all invested in it. He called them and told them we aren't picking up the rest of the stuff which is supposedly all over Florida!

Ray is not the kind a guy that will just forget so he is gonna do something to give them problems since they gave us problems first...story developing....

So damn right!

Indeed, Our Sunday started right. We went to bed late Saturday yet I was able to wake up early (10:30 am) which is unusual for me for being the sleepyhead in the house. I've been planning to go to church(once in a blue moon) and I did it this time. I was already up and running so I asked Ray if he can go with us (doggies) to the dog park and he agreed. We stayed for about an hour, it was a nice day so I was able to wear shorts even it's winter time (we have hot winter here..hehehe). The doggies were so excited, they can't even wait to go out when we were still driving especially when they see other dogs running.

This is being done to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the song, the 45th anniversary of NASA’s Deep Space Network, an international network of antennas that supports missions to explore the universe, and the 50th anniversary of NASA.

Across the Universe

NASA has invited people around the world to play “Across the Universe” on their audio systems at the same time NASA beams its mp3 version into outer space. The idea was hatched by Beatles’ historian Martin Lewis, who encourages all Beatles fans to play the track as it is being beamed to the distant star. Additionally, this date will be known as “Across the Universe Day”. The event marks the first time a radio song has been beamed into deep space.

Super Bowl XLII

Man, what a GAME it was! The New York Giants vs. The New England Patriots battles to be the champion. Ray and I went to Chili's to watch the game. Actually we watched the first half of the game at the store and went to Chili's to watch the rest of it. We are both rooting for the Giants since the family especially dad is rooting for them ever since. The family is actually from New York (Ray was born in Bronx, NY) that's why we rather cheer for the Giants than the Patriots. It was indeed the biggest upset for the Patriots since they had an 18-0 and of course wants a perfect season(19-0) just like the Miami Dolphins in the Super Bowl VII in 1972 where they went 17-0. Unfortunately, the Patriots lost the game and had to go home with 18-1. Almost everyone at Chili's were cheering for the Giants. We were screaming as loud as we can except for the 2 guys who were rooting for the Patriots. I even met a Filipina named Christie. Oh man, I cannot believe how loud we were in the last minutes of the game. Congratulations New York Giants! You deserves to be THE SUPER BOWL XLII CHAMPION!

Busy Saturday

We were so busy yesterday. Dad and Gladys visited us at the store, they lived in Holiday and it's was kinda far for them to drive but they made it anyway. The minute they left I went to the post office to mail all the stamps from our Ebay store. I almost took the airport exit since they are doing all kinds of constructions and moved the exit, I dunno how to get back to the interstate so I took the back road assuming it will take back but I was wrong so I have to make a U Turn and get back to the interstate the other way. It's just easier for me to go back because I want to go to the Chinese Store near Downtown. I made it and drop off all the stuff home and went back to the store. At night we decided to go out to visit our friend's club. We were surprised because it's so neat and nice. We stayed until 4am. I was kinda drunk but not really really drunk.

Happy Birthday Bully

Yesterday was my doggie Bullwinkle's birthday. He's getting older, we don't really know exactly how old he is because Ray and his late girlfriend found him eight years ago and the veterinarian told them that he was about 3 or 4 years old. Despite their effort to return him to the owner before, they even put posters everywhere where they found him yet nobody claimed Bullwinkle. He is such a good dog. He rarely bark, so friendly but he is a certified Houdini. He broke my heart when we were in Kansas City Missouri and he just disappear right when we got to our room. We always bring everywhere and he always stay underneath the bed. We just assumed that he was there but for all we knew he's gone. I cried my heart out knowing that we have to go home without him but before we left we put posters everywhere and even went to the police( we are that desperate). Three weeks later (we already got another Bullwinkle ) someone called from Missouri telling us that she got our dog! Another time he got away from our house and we have to go out of town for the day and we can't bring him so got out again and crossed one of the major 6 lane street (Hillsborough Avenue) in Tampa and went to the school 3 blocks from the house. Luckily a Samaritan called my mom because we have Ray and her number on his collar. He is an escape Artist yet I love that dog so much.

It's been our tradition that if one of our pet's birthday, that pet gets a treat (a hamburger usually from a fast food). Last night it's Bullwinkle's treat night. This time we got him a chicken nuggets. We also put a birthday candle and sung happy birthday.

Look what I have found, I am into sports so anything sports related really catches my eye. Important Matters

I had my appointment yesterday for USCIS regarding my Biometrics for my replacement of Permanent Resident Card. Yea it expired January so I have to get another one. Man, I can't believe it's been 3 years since I first moved in this country. Now I am processing my green card so I can be a citizen in what they called "great/free country". Most if not all think if you are in united States you got money more than you can think of, the truth of the matter is USA is more expensive to live in, yea we got great benefits from government, great interstate system but of course they have to do all of these because we pay taxes on every dollar we spend. Earning dollar and spending dollar is the same as earning peso and spend it on peso.
I just got carried away for a lil bit there, anyway the schedule went pretty well yesterday and I just have to wait for the new card I guess.
